I Read this post and just had to comment on it anyway, Do you or don’t you borrow? Paying off what you borrow at a later date is not possible for some people and they fall further into debt. I also do agree x-mas is a very hard time of year for parents, they feel guilty when they can’t afford something for their children, but my advice is if you don’t have the money at x-mas what makes you think you will have the money at a later date to pay off the debt????

I agree with scn, it looks to be an alternative to credit card overspending, but with the same result, but people are people and we do want to make xmas special with something extra.
